GOGOA VALENCIA ITH TECHYROOM 2.0

Valencia, April 7, 2025 – At Gogoa Mobility Robots, we are proud to have taken part in the launch of the second "smart room" of the ITH TechYRoom 2.0 project, held at the iconic Caro Hotel in Valencia. The event brought together over 20 technology companies committed to digitization, sustainability, and enhancing the hotel guest experience.

This groundbreaking initiative was promoted by Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, in collaboration with the Valencian Institute of Tourism Technologies (Invat·tur), the Hotel Technology Institute (ITH), Visit València, and HOSBEC. First launched in Benidorm, the project now arrives in Valencia, further strengthening its transformative impact on the tourism sector.

Exoskeletons and technologies for hotel staff well-being

Our presence at the event allowed us to demonstrate how robotic technologies—like exoskeletons—can improve working conditions in the hotel sector. At Gogoa, we strongly believe that the future of responsible, sustainable tourism must also prioritize the health and well-being of the people who make it possible. Our ergonomic support systems not only improve workplace safety but also boost hotels’ operational efficiency.

TechYRoom 2.0 goes beyond guest comfort by integrating innovation throughout the hotel ecosystem, including common areas, staff zones, and operational workflows.

A collaborative model for the future

During the event, José Manuel Camarero, the regional secretary for tourism, emphasized the importance of striving for a smarter and more sustainable tourism model. He noted that innovation is not limited to large hotel chains—it’s also within reach for independent hotels like Caro Hotel.

Javier García Cuenca, president of ITH, highlighted the value of public-private collaboration, which was key to turning this project into a success story.

Technology enhancing experience and sustainability

This second edition of the smart room features AI-based tools, energy efficiency systems, advanced accessibility solutions, and, of course, physical support for staff via exoskeletons.

The room functions as a living lab where tech companies can test, validate, and scale innovative solutions in a real-life hotel setting, fully aligned with the ITH SaveHotel model and its continuous improvement plans.

Thank you for having us

We at Gogoa would like to thank the organizing team—ITH, Invat·tur, HOSBEC, Visit València, and especially Caro Hotel—for their commitment to innovation and sustainability. It was a pleasure to contribute our vision and solutions to the advancement of a more human, efficient, and responsible tourism sector.

Let’s keep building a future where technology, health, and human well-being go hand in hand!
